Between 1991 and 2001 the Wompedy Club executed perhaps our largest escapades each and every Halloween. Check out the Escapades section for more details and photos from these events.

Luckily by 1998 we had enough people helping out that we were able to spare a club member to document the event with video.

For our last year, 2001, we set up an out door movie theatre and screened a 47 min loop of a series of shorts culled from the footage of previous years. In 2002 we released a DVD of that 47 mins along with an additional collection of Bonus Material, including The Golden Celery, Daze Like This, Daddy's Dead, and America: A Loving Tribute.

We have finally posted excerpts from the Halloween DVD right here on the net, where they belong. Feel free to watch these representative cuts, and if you just can't get enough, you can contact us about ordering a DVD for yourself (while supplies last).

About: Completed 12 hours before it was shown to thousands of onlookers, this piece was the last addition to the 47 min collection. Edited by Andrew Dean, it features the classic "Jump in Line" (a reference to how long the line was to get in to our monstrosities) and was a big hit with the crowd. About: In this piece the goal was to show the progression of setting up the 2000 year's theme (Shady Echoes: Maximum Security Psychiatric Institute for the Criminally Insane). So you're taken thru from the early trips to Home Depot, to the out of control traffic, to the news cameras, to the "pills" we passed out to trick-or-treaters. About: Daniel Dunnam and Andrew Dean take the viewer thru the "Hillbilly Death Swamp" of 1999. This video gives you a since of just how much went into one of these things. The Blood-Candy Machine, the Dog Box, the Blooding Table, the Bloodinator, the scuba tank bombs, the chickens, you name it, it's covered in this thorough walk-thru. Shot by Alan Hatchett.
